Marcus Pfister

Marcus Pfister (* July 30, 1960 in Bern, Switzerland) is a Swiss author and illustrator of children's picture books.^[1]

A worldwide success are his since 1992 published children's picture books about the Rainbow Fish. These books were translated in over 80 languages and have been sold with over 15 million copies.^[2] DHX Media turned the picture books into a 26-episode animated television series of the same name, which has aired on the HBO Family\television channel in the United States since 2000.

Marcus Pfister lives in Berne, Switzerland.
